Featuring four powerful external antennas that work alongside an internal one, this dual-band 802.11ac Wi-Fi router can transfer up to 1167 Mb/s over the 2.4 and 5 GHz frequencies with compatible devices. Beamforming and MU-MIMO technologies help to ensure strong connections while simultaneously communicating with up to two devices.
Connect up to four wired devices such as computers, smart TVs, and video game consoles to the available Gigabit Ethernet ports for extra reliability and performance. You can also put the Archer A6 into access point mode to provide your wired network with wireless access. In addition to supporting WPA3 encryption, you network is protected by an integrated SPI Firewall and it can be configured for VPN access so that you can use your home network from almost anywhere in the world. With the TP-Link Tether app, you can quickly configure the router’s security features, including the guest login and parental controls, from your mobile device.
Fast Wi-Fi With four powerful external antennas and one internal antenna, the Archer A6 delivers up to 867 Mb/s over the 5 GHz band and 300 Mb/s with the 2.4 GHz frequency. Efficient Connections Beamforming and MU-MIMO technologies help to ensure reliable connections and simultaneous communications with multiple devices. Access Point Mode Switching to Access Point Mode allows you to connect the Archer A6 to your router or switch using an Ethernet cable to provide wireless connectivity to your wired network. TP-Link Tether App Available for both iOS and Android, the Tether app allows you to configure, manage, and monitor your network from your mobile device. OneMesh Compatible Adding TP-Link OneMesh-compatible devices to your wireless network allows you to set up a mesh network that operates under a single network ID (SSID) for seamless connections as you roam from room to room. VPN Access Enabling the router’s OpenVPN and PPTP functions allows you to access your home network from almost anywhere in the world to take advantage of its security features when using public Wi-Fi.
